Poem

             THE MONKEY

He is a leaper,
Leaping in the mighty jungle.

He is a food disposal,
Snapping is sharp teeth.

He is an acrobat,
Flipping round and round.

He is an entertainer,
Exciting tourists with tricks.

He is a swing,
Rocking backwards and forwards.

In the trees of the jungle,
He is the king.

WALT: Use metaphors in poetry
So What: In our class we have been learning to write poetry with metaphors. I chose to do mine on the monkey.
Now What: I think I should add more detail.
